July's First Friday @ Freedlove Scranton

HYBRID FASHIONS

Freshly graduated from Marywood University with a BFA in Illustration, Nathan Miller was an easy pick for us and we are super excited that he's finally showing in Freedlove Scranton for August First Friday.  Nathan's presentation will be a mixture of creative line work, beautiful watercolor detailing and fashion.

So what moves Nathan an on any given day to create these fashion lover's spectacles?  "A trip to New York's Society of Illustrators or an engaging movie are both forces", says Nathan. As of late he's been listening to, Bob Dylan, Mac Miller, Good Old War, The Naked and Famous, The Airborne Toxic Event and Modest Mouse, all of which have influenced him on paper.  He is visually stimulated and inspired by the works of Egon Schiele, Conrad Roset, Ted and Betsy Lewin and a local Scranton artist, Ted Michalowski.

Fashion, on a hanger, down the runway, or on paper is always exciting and inspiring so bring those beautiful keister's to Freedlove for First Friday for some style swooning.  xoxo
